Symposia should provide a common framework under an emerging issue (theoretical, methodological) and can include both research and practitioner perspectives.

Symposia organizer(s) must submit:

a) an overall symposium abstract (1900 characters maximum), including:

• Symposium title (180 characters maximum);
• Background and objectives;
• Significance for the advancement of traffic or transportation psychology;
• Author(s) name(s) and title of each individual presentation.

b) individual contributions for the symposium:

It is the responsibility of the symposium organizer(s) to coordinate with the presentation authors all the elements to submit at once.

Symposium abstracts should be submitted under the option “Symposia” at the submission form. Individual contributions should be submitted by the organizer, in the same form.

2. Individual communications (oral or poster presentations)

Presentation formats include research and/or practice/policy-oriented proposals. Research proposals can be based on own’s empirical research or a critical review of important issues in traffic and transportation psychology studies.

The Scientific Committee can propose to change the presentation between oral/poster format.
In the case of oral presentations, each presentation will take up to 15 minutes and will be included in a thematic session joining other presentations, followed by an open discussion period.

In the case of poster presentation they will be exposed in sessions in a place to circulation
